📣 Attention CHELAN COUNTY!

My name is Jasmine, and I live in the Chelan/Manson area, while also working in Leavenworth. As many of you know, the Leavenworth–Cashmere area has been hit hard by severe flooding, causing significant damage to homes and properties.
Leavenworth is currently in its busy season and has just experienced a major disaster. To me, this feels no different than when Chelan faces wildfires in the summer — and we all know how important it is to come together during times like these.
I would love to bring together a group of volunteers to help our neighbors in any way they may need. I’ve reached out to the fire department and the chamber, and the best advice I received was simply: show up and help where you can.
Here are some of the ways help is currently needed:
• Assisting elderly residents with general cleanup and support
• Tree removal from homes and properties (chainsaws needed)
• Debris removal and disposal (trailers and trucks needed)
If you are in the Leavenworth area and need help, please comment on this post and let us know how we can support you.
If you are connected with churches, the chamber, or the city and have suggestions or guidance, your input is greatly appreciated.
For those who want to help immediately, I encourage you to drive through Leavenworth and check in with neighbors directly to see where assistance is needed most.
☕ Chelan Fire & Rescue Association will be set up at 12:00 PM outside of Woody’s & Stella’s Boutique + Wine Bar, offering free hot cocoa for all volunteers — please stop by to warm up!
Let’s make this a positive, supportive event and help the Leavenworth community and families get back on their feet for the holidays and winter season.
Happy Holidays everyone!
XOXO,
Jasmine
