Lakeside Surf Club memberships are available for surfers looking to maximize their time surfing.
Memberships are assigned to ONE surfer and member sessions MUST be surfed by the surf member.
Membership sessions are ONLY valid during the season in which they are purchased.
There are only 125 memberships available. Previous year members will have opportunity to renew for the next season prior to sales being opened to the general public.

LAKESIDE SURF VIP ZONES
Reserve your private space before you even arrive.
The SURF VIP Zone & the Family Surf Zone are located with perfect views of the citywave USA and Lake Chelan. Reserve your space today to make your day more comfortable, relaxed and full of stoke! Rental is good during Lakeside Surf public surfing hours; check in with the Surf Coaches at the red building upon arrival. The VIP Zone is the ultimate space for spending your day at Lakeside Surf. The giant umbrella shades the outdoor couch, while the beach chairs are prime for watching surfers. The Polywood zone offers a large outdoor sectional and a place to retreat between sessions, sliding or just to sit back and relax and watch the surf. Rental fee does not include admission to Slidewaters or surfing.

Lakeside Surf is available for your company party, family reunion, surf club outing or just a group of friends who are not that great at sharing. Reserve the entire facility for your group and get up to 60 surfers a 45-minute surf session on the largest stationary wave in the world.

SURFING CONDITIONS
Wave setup
citywave USA has the capabilities to be setup for beginners, intermediate and expert surfers. During the 2022 season, Lakeside Surf will offer dedicated beginner, open and advanced sessions. Wave setup for OPEN public sessions will be set to keep the lowest level surfer safe. All sessions outside of the Slidewaters season will be OPEN sessions. Beginner waves will consist of a wave setup that only allows for soft fins. Dedicated beginner sessions include the free surf for Slidewaters guests from 10am to noon and the 12:30 & 1:15 sessions during the Slidewaters season. Dedicated advanced sessions will be 5:15 & 6pm during the Slidewaters season. Surfers signing up for the advanced session that can not safely surf the wave will be asked to stop surfing-rescheduling may be possible. Any guest reserving a private session will be allowed to request a certain wave setup.
Personal Surfing Equipment
All first time citywave USA surfers are required to use our equipment until they are approved by the staff. For the safety of surfers, personal surf equipment and citywave USA, surfers must prove capable of handling the wave prior to switching to their own equipment. Only approved boards and fin setups are allowed. Standard boards for surfing a citywave are between 4'8 & 6'0 with small or medium fins (maximum large). Soft fins are required when first switching to personal equipment. Lakeside Surf & citywave are never responsible for damage to your personal equipment.
Surfing & Slidewaters
When Slidewaters is open, Lakeside Surf will be an extension of the waterpark for paying waterpark guests. Slidewaters guests can enter Slidewaters from the Slidewaters Entrance or the Lakeside Surf Entrance. Slidewaters guests can sign up for free surfing from 10am-noon on the day of their visit. Free sessions fill up fast, so plan accordingly. Guests only wanting to visit Lakeside Surf do not need to pay admission, but can ONLY enter the surf park from the upper parking lot and the Lakeside Surf Entrance. Guests to Lakeside Surf can expect a cover charge for special events.
Weather
For their own safety, spectators and surfers can expect periodic closure of citywave USA if lightning is in the vicinity of Lakeside Surf. Lakeside Surf reserves the right to alter hours of operation. We will do our best to reschedule surf sessions for those inconvenienced. We do not offer refunds.
